ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Home

.... Welcome. On this page, you will find information about the creators of Molotov Cocktail - me (Ethan) and my sister, Elizabeth. First, some background: My sister, my brothers, and I have lived most of our lives in the southeast asian country of Indonesia, in a town called Bengkulu on the island of Sumatera. Our parents have been Southern Babtist missionaries there for over 20 years as directors of a farmer's training center. God has blessed our family and our ministry more than I can describe, allowing the message of God's love to be brought to the Indonesian people in Benkulu. God is so good. I love Indonesia, possibly more than the United States and still consider it my true home.

Ethan "Volkov" Baker - Writer, director

.... Hello, my name is Ethan Baker, though I sometimes go by Volkov when online. I'm currently a grocery store stocker in the little town of Piggott, Arkansas. I write and direct this comic. In addition, I ink and Photoshop the art to add color and prepare it for the web when my sister, Elizabeth is done with the scetches.

.... In case you havn't noticed, I'm crazy about Russia. My facination with everything Soviet began a few years ago when my older brother came to the house on break from attending high school on another island and brought the computer game Command & Conquer Red Alert along with his snazzy (back then) computer. In Red Alert, Albert Einstein builds a "chronosphere" time machine and geos back in time to kill Adolf Hitler before he can start World War II. Einstein succedes but unfortunately this upsets the world balance of power, allowing Joseph Stalin to unleash his Soviet Red Army in a massive invasion accross Europe. I was practicly addicted to that game. That was my jump off point and later I began to study the real history of the Soviet Union and the Cold War period. I'm an enthsiast to this day.

Elizabeth Baker - Artist

.... Konichiwa! I'm an 18-year-old, self-taught fledgling artist. Started when I was like... 2. Most of my art focuses on my own fantasy-based characters, but I don't mind doing a few furries for Ethan now and then. I enjoy drawing elves, harpies, dragons, centaurs, and things of that sort. Call it jumping on the bandwagon, but my artistic style is anime-influenced. I do all the preleminary art stuff for Molotov Cocktail. Ethan gives me a reference scetch showing me how he wants everything to look and then I work off of that. And I guess that's all you need to know about me. Sianara!
