Katrina Molotov

Katrina Molotov

Known as a loose cannon by her superiors and “Cerberus” by her men, Katrina Molotov is the Director of the Third Chief Directorate of the KGB (military counter-intelligence). Extremely irritable and domineering, as our not-so-friendly protagonist, Katrina must put up with a lot of things: budget cuts, cheap soviet-made equipment, restless, incompetent troops. Not to mention an annoying, goofball brother as second in command and being constantly outwitted by the elusive, Agent CC. It’s a wonder she hasn’t gone insane. (Although some would argue that she’s always been insane.) Katrina hates everything American and obsessively paranoid about American ‘infiltration’ of Russian society to the point of believing that everything bad that happens to her is must be America’s fault somehow; from the weather, to toilet paper shortages, to the declining Russian ruble.

Dimitri Molotov

Dimitri Molotov

Dimitri Molotov got his present position as Deputy Directer as the result of a bet he won with Katrina when they were kids. It's a bet Katrina has regretted making ever since. Unfortunately, as adults in the KGB, neither of them have grown out of this petty sibling bickering.

Dimitri is uncouth, irresponsible, a practical joker, a goof off, and seemingly dimwitted at first glance. If this wasn't enough, the troops love him, which makes Katrina even angrier. Dimitri is however a competant general who knows how to do his job when he needs to.

Agent CC

          Agent CC

Katrina’s archenemy, Agent CC (real name classified) really gets on her nerves—and loves every minute of it. As the CIA’s top overseas operative, this black cat’s slipperier than a leach and more devious than a Democrat, some say. Unfortunately, he has a weakness; a weakness for things…other people’s things.

CC likes to act the sexy secret agent type to attract the femmes, but he has a knack for saying and doing the wrong things at the wrong time and all he seems to attract is the backsides of their hands.

Sir Reginald Duff

Lieutenant Commander Katie O’Connor

Sir Reginald is a top MI 6 operative of candor and wit, who's also not afraid to let you know his oppinion of anything in any given sittuation. Reginald is Agent CC’s contact and partner, accompanying him during his current assignment with British intelligence. CC is lucky that Reginald is also one of his closest friends because the fox often has to clean up after CC’s bumbling mistakes.

A decorated officer with British naval intelligence.

Laika

Laika

Laika is a ghost. That's right, she's quite dead. But there's some unfinished business to attend to with the man responsible for sending her to an uncivilized death aboard Sputnik II, Dr. Sergei Korolev. Unable to acheive eternal rest, Laika has made it her goal to make Sergei's life as miserable as her undeath existance; bringing him down some notches in some most amusing ways.

Laika is a poor, young peasant woman from a tiny village just outside Moscow. Though her name is Laika by birth, to her closest friends, she's Kudryavka. Before her untimely demise, Laika was a naive, idealistic Soviet patriot, which turned out to be her undoing as it made her a perfect propaganda gunea pig for the Soviet space program. She's gained some wisdom and boldness since then, intimidating proud Dr. Korolev to no end.

Sergei Korolev

Sergei is the infamous director of the Soviet space program, responsible for the flights of the Sputnik satelites as well as almost every other major Soviet space race acheivement. Known historicly for his ability to get things done by "sheer bulying power", Dr. Korolev is a man to be reconed with. That is untill, he met his match with Laika. Sergei has found his life unceremoniously turned on it's head in more ways than one as he's constantly haunted by her. Historicly, Dr. Korolev was married with children, but for yet unknown reasons, in our modified version of history for this comic, he's single.
